Imagine a library where the books are people and reading is a conversation

In the Human Library, the Books are people and the reading is conversation. The ‘Books’ are people who have experienced prejudice, social exclusion or stigma, and they are borrowed by ‘Readers’ who can ask any questions they like, to both learn about the other person and also challenge their own prejudices.

Our Human Library events are held at HOLYWELL – DiverseCity Community Partnership, 10-14 Bishop Street, Derry/Londonderry, BT48 6PW
